Issues Pertaining to Internet Pornography and Kids
Internet Pornography and Children – I saw a documentary recently called “The Price of Pleasure” that addressed issues the pertain to children and pornography. As you might predict, it was pretty disturbing.
Just consider these figures about Internet Pornography & Children :
11 years old is a conservative approximation of when kids are first exposed to online pornography
90% of children, ages 8-16 year olds have viewed pornography on the net (generally while doing homework)
80% of adolescents 15-17 year olds are exposed multiple times to hard-core pornography
Sexuality is a part of life just like food. We desire both to live. But what will the future hold if children get to form their views and ideals based on pornographic images or videos that they happened upon online?
So what does naturism have to do with all this? Nudism means all types of things to all types of people. But naturism is in no way sexual!
The mainstream might think and even believe that nudity is perverted, but nudists know better. For true naturists, nudity is natural, our body is our body, and we must not feel ashamed of who we are or what we look like.
If folks believe in God then they also believe that it was God that gave us this body and that we should never be ashamed of it. After combing the bible I couldn’t find http://shockintown.com about nudity being a bad thing. The contrary might be asserted better since God was pissed when he found that Adam & Eve were ashamed of how they looked and ran to cover themselves up.
For me, it’d be far healthier to educate children and address issues early on in life. What if kids were first introduced to nudity through nudism and not through porn?
It goes without saying that if children are exposed to nudity through pornography, then the opportunities that child would link both together are practically inescapable.
For nudists, the naked body is seen as just a little part of what makes a person. At a social nude / clothes-free setting, people are driven to make much more eye contact, which causes them to be far more attentive to what another man is really saying. Contrary to what some may believe, nudism goes a ways to diffuse sexual tensions.
Without any accessories, it is very hard to sexualize one’s appearance. Wearing skimpy outfits serves just one purpose – SEX APPEAL. While being nude is just that – being naked. It is like saying, this who I am for better or for worse.
Internet Pornography & Children –
If action just isn’t taken shortly then we run the risk of having a whole generation of kids who believe that being nude is sexual (through no fault of their own). The issue goes even more serious since growing up with such misconceptions will inevitably play an important part of how that child will grow up and view his / her partner. Porn in and of itself isn’t the difficulty. It’s us as a society that keeps pushing the envelope and keeps needing new and harsher ways of satisfying our sexual dreams.
If nudity were accepted I for family nudism photo consider that society as a whole would be the beneficiary. We’d see a more open and accepting attitude towards the human form and a lot more respect towards the other folks in our lives.
Would you believe exposure to naturism or nudity at a young age would reduce the regular have to seek out pornography and sexual amusement later on in life? Can naturism reduce the need for porn?
(In addition to Internet Pornography and Kids .. As I was doing research, I also came across this other stat that depressed and infuriated me at exactly the same time. And we call ourselves a developed country?)
